All of my life I have found reason to reach for the lord and many times I have found myself asking him to walk beside me as I tread in unknown waters and seek his guidance to see me through. I can honestly tell you; he has always been there, and he has always given me the answers I needed to hear and directed me to exactly where I needed to be.
I am never ashamed to speak of my conversations with the Lord and my faith him to be my light that keeps me dancing along the path that he has designed for me.
Yes, I questioned him, when I lost my husband and I wept to him when I felt taken advantage of, alone, and vulnerable. Of course, I challenged him and lectured him when I thought I was losing my second oldest son. I also thanked him for every child he gave me and for the husband he chose for me and for saving my life the few times it was at risk of being lost. Yes, I have begged his forgiveness when I made mistakes that I knew he would never approve of.
I have looked up and smiled at the gloriousness that I know is there because he created it and I have appreciated him for being there as I reached for my dreams and the life I desire to have, because I asked for his guidance to make the right choices and he never let me down.
I could never have imagined that I would find myself in love again and yet I have, and I know that this was his work. I know this, because I believe in him, and I believe that when things in your life go right it is because they are part of the life God has chosen for you.
I pray every night for my children and my family to be safe and sound, strong and smart, healthy, and happy. I pray this as well for the man I love, his children and his family. I pray for my friends and their families and for those I have acquainted with that may need a prayer said for them.
I am thankful for my life, for my children, for all of my loved ones that are a part of my life and for the extended loved ones I have gained. I am thankful to be able to have the choice to reach for my dreams and make them a reality.
I am forever thankful to have found such a wonderful man to share the second half of my life with and for the way he continues to make me feel special and beautiful every single day.
Today and for the rest of my days on this beautiful earth I know I am a fortunate and blessed woman, because I have been given the chance to love for a second time and to live the life I always dreamt of living. I know this is possible because the Lord will always be in my life and my darling sweetheart you came into my life just when I needed you most.
