The meaning of integrity is choosing your thoughts and actions based on values rather than personal gain. This is something everyone should strive to have, and it should be a without question necessity, in their list of morals that they hold pride in having, however there are some in this world that do not have any interest in being someone who stands on any moral values, least of all integrity.
I will say it again, Integrity is choosing your thoughts and actions based on values rather than personal gain. I am someone who has always chosen to give every person the benefit of doubt and to believe that the people I consider my friends would never seek to harm or hurt me. I have been wrong on occasion and those people I speak of know exactly who they are. Make no mistake I only live by the fool me once shame on you compass, I will not allow you to fool me twice. Recently I have unfortunately seen two of my dear friends be affected by someone who has zero integrity and not a lick of morals. It is shameful and ignorant to behave in such a manner and treat people like garbage and attempt to destroy their personal image for your own gain, you pathetic excuse for a human being.
As a woman of Christian faith and someone who stands strong on my moral values as such, I will pray for these people that I speak of, that they are awakened to the reality of the kind of people they are and that they find it within themselves to change their ways. As an angry and affected person by these behaviors, I will say this, Karma is a bitch, and it will come back to bite you square in the ass!
We live in a small town, and it will not take long for the people of this town to get wind of the kind of people you are if they do not already know and shun you and your business for good. Shame on you and all those that stand with you and your disgusting actions!
Shame on anyone that puts themselves first and chooses to behave in such a manner as to take advantage of a good person or chooses to treat a good person with zero dignity and respect in exchange for their own personal gain. I have news for you people and people like you, you will never gain a thing other than a bad reputation and a loss of good friends and good people in your life.
The lord says treat others as you would want them to treat you. Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
Do you believe in your actions so much that you would want others to treat you the same way? I am certain I know the answer to this. There is no thought that needs to be given to this question. People like those I speak of are inexcusable.
Integrity is a valuable moral and one that makes you worth your grain of salt. I hope that we all learn to choose a life that upholds a moral compass of integrity, dignity, respect, honesty, love, and loyalty.
Do not place yourself in the depths of shame or you will surely find yourself rotting in hell.
