She’s the reason you exist as a human on this earth between God’s love and her willingness to give birth. She’s the smile you first see and the touch you first feel. She’s the kiss that makes all of your wounds seem to heal.
She’s the voice that says I love you the moment you arrive, and She repeats it a million times before you even learn to drive. She’s the arms that hold you tight while she rocks you to sleep and the gentle hands that tuck you in without making a single peep.
You will always be her baby even when you are fully grown and living on your own. She’s the only living woman who can do no wrong and she’s the only living soul who will love you unconditionally until the day she is gone.
She wouldn’t hesitate to give her life for yours, it’s true, because quite simply, a mother’s love knows no bounds when it comes to loving you.
Thank you, momma, for loving me and being the shining example that made me the momma I am today. Thank you for all of your sacrifices that made it possible for me to grow into the woman I am today. I may not always say it, but I am proud that you are my momma and I love you very much.
I am so blessed to be momma to my four amazing boys, and I take pride in knowing that I am all of these things for my boys, and I would truly without any shadow of a doubt give my life for any one of my beautiful babies. I will never stop being proud of the men I have raised, and I always feel so abundantly blessed to be so incredibly loved so much by each one of them.
I have always believed that in life and love, the measure of what you give to others will come back to you tenfold and even if it doesn’t you can hold your head high knowing you were genuine, true, and kind and you gave of yourself unconditionally because that is just the kind of person you wanted to be in this world. That is something my momma and her momma and her momma before that instilled in me and I am forever thankful for their love and guidance in my life.
