When

To the Lord you are a sinner, but you are also a winner. There are those who believe you shine oh so bright and there are others who condemn your light. To the world you are a number, another person in the crowd, to your family you are a loved one of whom they adore and are so proud. To the Lord you are his child and a special part of him even when you sin. To angered violent people, your words will never be those of truth, but instead they will only hear hateful bitter spews. Their minds were never open to another person’s ideas, argument or thought, because the sinister words of evil, hatred, and violence are easier bought. We all want to stand for something, to fight for what we believe is right. We all want our words to be heard, even if they are words chanting in celebration of another person’s demise, isn’t that absurd?

When do we stop fighting with wretched words used in a political activist’s rally cry who's merely looking for a place in the limelight, and start choosing are own words, expressing our own feelings and using our own minds when we stand up to fight. When will we put down the guns, stop believing that using them will make things right, and start standing together side by side. I bet we would all be surprised at the beautiful world we would see if we just came together, opened our hearts and extended our hands, One nation under God in the Land of the free as united we stand.
